Chapter 17 Learning Potions
Chapter 17 Learning Potions
To be fair, Severus Snape was quite the man of action. Once he came up with the idea of using teaching potions as a pretext to get close to Landric, he actually did it. It's just a pity for Draco, who was used a little by his godfather.
The naive Draco was constantly criticized by Severus ever since Severus had the idea of teaching him potions. After Severus casually mentioned (which wasn't actually true) that it would be more convenient for Draco to have a potions assistant in potions class, Draco fell into his godfather's trap.
Then Landric was once again bombarded with letters from Draco at Rozier's estate...
Landric: Who understands, family members? I'm speechless.
Landric didn't want to have any more contact with Severus because he thought Severus already knew his identity, but seeing Draco's eagerness for him to learn potions with him, Landric understood what was going on.
Draco wouldn't suddenly decide to have him join Potions class, so it could only be that a Potions professor suddenly had some idea.
Landric had no idea what Severus was up to. He didn't think Severus was showing belated love for his child after learning about their relationship; instead, he thought Severus was after something he could gain!
Landric subconsciously felt that anyone who could get along with Old Deng was not simple-minded.
It's just a pity for Draco, who was used as a tool by his old godfather.
Looking at the ever-increasing number of letters in the manor, Landric felt a profound sense of powerlessness…
On one side is a friend he acknowledges, and on the other is a mother who despises Severus…
After thinking about it, Landric decided to discuss it with his mother.
As it turned out, Landric was right; Tana Rozier's dislike for Severus was truly intense, and her expression changed instantly at the mere mention of his name.
Tana Rozier: "What did you say? Draco wants you to study Potions? And the Potions professor is Severus Snape?"
Tana Rozier's three questions left Landric unsure whether he should continue.
Tana looked at her child, a sense of unease rising within her: Did little Rand know that Severus Snape was his father? How could that be? I've never told anyone! Could it be that old man Severus Snape who told little Rand?
Suddenly, a surge of hatred welled up inside Tana Rozier, threatening to overwhelm her.
What is that bastard Snape trying to do? Is he trying to take my child away from me? Wasn't Rand the one he didn't want? She shouldn't have let Rand go to Malfoy Manor in the first place.
Tana Rozier was overwhelmed with remorse, and even had an urge to kill Severus.
Despite her inner turmoil about tearing Severus to pieces, Tana Rozier looked at Landric with gentle eyes, not wanting to shatter the image of a kind mother in Landric's mind.
Tana Rozier: "Honey, did someone say something to you?"
As soon as Tana Rozier said this, Landric knew she had misunderstood.
Landric: "Actually, I don't have a mother. I just thought the potion seemed interesting."
Tana Rozier felt a little relieved after hearing Landric's words.
Then she began to consider the pros and cons of Landric learning potions. As for not letting Landric learn? Just kidding! Landric had finally expressed his needs, so there was no way she wouldn't grant them.
Cortana Rosier was caught in a dilemma again. Actually, it wouldn't be bad if she didn't have that damned Snape teach her Potions; she could find someone else to teach Landric. But Snape was, after all, a very famous Potions Master. If he taught Landric, that would be excellent. But she was afraid—afraid that Snape would change his mind, afraid that Snape would take Landric away from her.
After much deliberation, Tana Rozier decided to talk to Snape.
After Snape made it clear that he would not reveal his identity to Landric, Tana Rozier finally agreed.
In the end, Draco and Snape were very happy, as were the Malfoys (who were able to see Landric often). Landric said he was in a good mood, and only Tana Rozier was a little worried about the world that had emerged.
