It did not take long for the evolution to be completed.
Only five seconds in the outside world were required by [Codex of Creation] to evolve and become more suited for Ash’s current existence.
The golden glow surrounding Ash gradually receded back into his body, yet Kane still did not attack him, choosing to remain where he was as though waiting to see whether the previous phenomenon changed something in Ash.
Using that opportunity, Ash immediately shifted his attention toward the enormous number of notifications that had piled up before him.
Most of them were notifications related to Eva’s countless simulations, synthesis attempts, calculations, and analyses, while the rest were primarily descriptions and information regarding the newly created abilities.

As a result, Ash skipped all of them for now and directly opened the information he actually wanted to see.

The moment Ash finished reading the information regarding the evolved [Codex of Creation], a faint look of delight appeared on his face because the changes were far greater than he had anticipated, especially when he saw the modifications made to Protective Override.
The ability was no longer a broad safeguard but had instead become heavily focused on the path he currently walked, covering evolution, synthesis, assimilation, adaptation, and every other transformative process that could potentially threaten his existence.
For someone else, such a change might not have meant much.
For Ash, however, it was an absurd improvement.
After all, ever since obtaining Synthesis, Assimilation, and now Evolution, the possibility of something going catastrophically wrong was always present.
Earlier, Eva had to interfere just to make sure Ash body adapts and assimilates the Crimson Heavenly Lightning perfectly without anything going wrong.
But now the Codex now possessed the ability to actively interfere and guide those processes toward the most advantageous outcome possible.

The other had gradually become meaningless because he no longer possessed any method of creating new skills using Runes.
