Chapter 819. One Strike.
Chapter 819. One Strike.
Kailen stepped forward.
He looked like an ant before the overbearing and colossal attacks headed his way.
These attacks were launched by the elite among the elite at the rank 5 novice stage Transcendent level in the Tesla Domain.
He was very powerful, the audience thought.
So powerful. But he was a single person. Even if he had killed the rumored strongest Transcendent at the rank 5 novice stage Transcendent level, Chandler Valeria, with just one strike, the overwhelming attacks of several Transcendents almost at the same level of strength as him was not something even Kailen Darkhaven could contend against, right?
The void twisted and rippled as Kailen waved his hand slightly. The void turned into spatial tendrils. The spatial tendrils came together, and aggregated into one, giving rise to a very large spatial cloth. The spatial cloth was several light years long. It blotted out everywhere.
The spatial cloth fluttered in the void.
It rolled forward slowly. At least, that’s how it seemed.
But it arrived before the attacks launched at Kailen in an instant.
The fire principle palmprint of Ragna.
The spinning wind principle wheel of Isolde.
The streams of darkness principle of the second ranked on the Andromis Imperium Empire imperial rankings.
The large great sword formed from the principle of ice, made by the Altair Empire Academy’s Altair Zenith rankings first ranked.
And the other attacks of those with them.
All of them. The spatial cloth arrived before all of them. The spatial cloth, spanning the length of several light years, blanketed them.
Comparing it to the other attacks, the other attacks looked like ants before a mountain.
This was the first time Kailen Darkhaven had launched an attack of this scale.
Was this his true strength?
Everything took a while to describe, but not even a moment had passed.
The spatial cloth, under the gazes of everyone, touched the attacks of Kailen’s opponents and somehow seemed to sieve through them. No, the actual word was it swallowed them.
It was as if the attacks had passed through the spatial cloth, and disappeared.
They had been completely deleted from existence.
Kailen’s opponents stared at him with fear.
A sense of dread encumbered them.
They knew that if this spatial cloth came into contact with them, they’d all die.
Isolde had an expression of extreme shock and fear on her face.
Kailen looked at her with a casual expression. His eyes were calm, deep and abyss-like.
That stare made her feel like she had just received her death sentence.
Every other person who attacked Kailen turned around to flee, including Isolde.
Kailen was calm as he watched them turn around and try to flee.
The spatial cloth blinked into the void and reappeared above them.
Shit....
Was this how they were going to die?
Everyone stared at Isolde with an expression of anger.
Had they not listened to her, Kailen Darkhaven would have probably let them be.
They would not have made an enemy out of him.
However, there was no cure for regrets.
The spatial cloth touched their figures and ran through them, Isolde included.
No screams of death...
Only silence.
Nothing remained. Not even corpses.
They had been completely deleted from existence.
Only the spatial cloth floated across the void where Kailen Darkhaven’s enemies used to be.
Across the five empires, everywhere was quiet.
No one spoke a word. No one moved.
Everyone stared at their screens blankly in shock.
There was only one word to describe what had just happened.
Tyrannical.
One fucking attack to delete several geniuses standing at the peak of rank 5 novice stage Transcendents in the Tesla Domain.
Kailen Darkhaven had killed them with just one strike.
So this was how terrifying he truly was.
This was his full power.
Had these people he had just killed not put him in a situation where he had to reveal his full strength, would anyone have known how powerful he truly was?
This fellow had killed most of the participants from the other empires with just one strike.
How terrifying.
"So this is his true strength," the third ranked on the Heavenly Fate rankings muttered.
The others on the Heavenly Fate rankings, who had also been observing the battle between Kailen and the others from the other empires directly, felt numb and terrified.
"We are all at the rank 5 novice stage Transcendent level, and we all have a high principle comprehension speed. But how terrifying is this fellow? Not to mention that he came to meet us in the academy. But now he has left us completely in the dust," the fourth ranked, a tall dude from the spectral race, clad in a robe, said.
Every other person sighed deeply.
What Kailen Darkhaven had done was inconceivable.
The competition was supposed to end when five participants each from every empire academy was left.
However, he had slaughtered almost every one from the other empires’ academies.
His actions were justified, though. Was he supposed to let them kill him?
The most absurd thing about this was that because of the treaty between the five academies of the five empires, no one would dare try to kill him for killing their geniuses. No empire academy wanted to have a war with another over the deaths of a few geniuses. It was not worth it.
This meant that Darkhaven had gotten away with killing several geniuses of the other academies of the other empires.
Heh...
Several watching thought.
This event would definitely be recorded in the historical annals of the Tesla Domain.
After all, literally everyone in the Tesla Domain had witnessed it.
Kailen Darkhaven. So this fellow was the first Transcendent from the light region, huh.
What an unusual and terrifying fellow.

Venzula Empire.
Capital.
NGU HQ.
Watching Kailen on the holographic screen floating in the void calmly, and waving his hand for the spatial blanket to disappear, Julian shook his head and sighed.
"I should really put more effort into my training. He will eventually leave the Tesla Domain after the war. Since I planned to accompany him, I will leave the Tesla Domain with him in the future."
Julian’s master, the NGU president, mused inwardly.
"It seems we made the right choice to ally with the academy. I no longer think we took a risk."

Venzula Empire.
Royal Palace.
Several were watching the stream.
"Looks like we have no choice but to stop sending assassins after him," someone said.
"I agree. We will only get more of our men killed."
"We should make preparations to kill him during the war."
"Indeed. I didn’t expect him to become this terrifying, though. A small ant has become a giant that will be a headache to deal with."
"No need to complain. Let’s make preparations. When the empress comes out of seclusion, the war will definitely begin."
"Yeah."
****
Meridian Oceanic Empire.
StayNight Hotel and Estates.
"I honestly feel so refreshed," Austere said.
"Indeed. Isn’t the weather nice this evening?" Morgana added as she and the other Venzula Empire Academy professors stared in the direction of the professors from the other academies of the other empires with smiles.
A few moments prior to the battle between Kailen and the geniuses from the other academies, they were confidently boasting that Kailen Darkhaven, no matter how strong he was, would fall in the battle. And most likely, not even the others on the Heavenly Fate rankings would survive.
But now, they were not only shocked, they felt humiliated and so ashamed that they wanted to find a hole to crawl in. They had lost all face.
Worst of all, because of the treaty, revenge was off the table.
Looking at the situation, Darkhaven, and the other four on the Heavenly Fate rankings remaining alive, would enter the secret realm.
The participants from their empires who had not been killed by Kailen Darkhaven had all died due to chaotic beasts, the attacks of other participants and spatial storms.
The Venzula Empire Academy had secured the last laugh.
Their academy rectors/principals should be fuming now. No one had expected this outcome. But nothing could be done about it. The Venzula Empire Academy had secured their victory, fair and square, according to the treaty. Everyone in the Tesla Domain had witnessed it. And the treaty between the five empires’ academies would ensure that no one moved against the Venzula Empire Academy.
Begrudgingly, they left. It was time to return to their empires. There was no need to remain here since the competition had ended.

Kailen and the other four on the Heavenly Fate rankings felt themselves being pulled out of the Meridian Belt.
They found themselves in a spaceship.
In the spaceship, they saw Vice Principal Morgana, Professor Austere and the other professors they came with.
"The competition has ended. You guys are the only survivors," Morgana said. "The secret realm now belongs to the Venzula Empire Academy, according to the treaty we signed with the other four empires’ academies."
She looked at them and nodded. "You guys have done very well, especially Mr. Darkhaven."
She looked at Kailen. Everyone looked in his direction with glints of admiration.
This fellow was really something else. His feat during the competition will remain in the historical annals of the Tesla Domain.
The others on the Heavenly Fate rankings even seemed reverential.
Kailen simply nodded warmly to everyone and kept silent.
Morgana continued, "We are headed straight to the secret realm."
Everyone nodded. The spaceship bolted off, leaving the Meridian Oceanic Empire territory, gliding through the void of the starry sea.
